Anna and the Inexpressible feeling of Being Lost - A short film exploring a young person's inner turmoil stemming from alienation and anxiety. Scared of the future, Anna hides inside the safety of her room.

I produced, directed and designed the project while at Toi Whakaari. The film was made through a visual devising process with collaborators throughout pre-production that I led. We built the set and shot the film inside a studio at Te Whaea: Dance and Drama Centre with the underwater scenes at the Wellington Regional Aquatic centre.

‘Anna’ has since premiered internationally at the Brooklyn Film Festival In New York and is now a part of the Unlonely Film Festival Season 5 program brought about by the Foundation for Art and Healing in America.
